The end of February we took Nate and Shane to their first movie with some Sunday school friends before they returned to their home town, Taung Gyi.
We went and saw Sammy 2 in 3D. The kids really enjoyed the movie and even thought things were really coming out of the screen at first.
Here is Nate wearing the 3D glasses, excited for the movie to start.
After the movie we ate donuts and drank juice together.

Just a little frosting on top...
This year God provided us with our next rental house more than one month in advance. It is such a relief not to he house hunting until last minute and moving all in one day.
The new house is also a bit bigger and better....
It has a large living room, where I'm standing taking this photo, with this adjacent dining room. The living
room will become our English classroom and the dining room the Myanmar
classroom.
This house also has 2 bedrooms, and TWO bathrooms.
The kitchen is big and has this counter space as well as another about the same size, but not as tall. I have claimed the counter on the left to set up my little microwave sized oven and blender. I'm excited to bake and make fruit juices again now that we have the kitchen space and a house with more consistent electricity.
We will put the cooking burner on the counter under the fan. It will be nice to have a fan to help relieve the heat of cooking in the tropical weather.
In the corner there is a bathroom type wash basin, kinda interesting, but handy. The other counter has a regular kitchen sink for washing dishes.
Our house also has a 1000 liter water tank on the roof so we have water storage and water PRESSURE!!!
We only have to turn on the power breaker to turn on one or the other of two water pumps. Either from the well, or from the deep pipe tapped into ground water.
NO MORE city water that only comes after midnight or only to the lowest outdoor faucet requiring us to carry water in from outside.
NO MORE bucket carrying, washing, bathing or flushing for now!
On of my other FAVORITE things about this house is it has a yard. And it is planted with all kinds of tropical plants. It also has a fish pond with a waterfall, already filled with some big goldfish (coy?) , guppies, freshwater sharks, and some other sucker type fish.
I am so excited to have some outside space to relax and even to do some yard work. I already enjoy watering the plants and watching the fish.

The only improvement this house needed was a new coat of paint to lighten it up and cover some incense smoke stains on the ceiling and some peeling paint under the windows.
It already looks so much brighter.
We will also put down a vinyl floor in the classrooms (living room/dining room) so that any spills or accidents don't soak into the wood flooring.
We are now about half way moved.
This Monday we are planning to borrow a truck and some strong guys to help us move our larger items like the refrigerator and bookshelves and such.
At times I'm discouraged about having to move yearly, but I praise God that each move has been to a bigger and better house and without having a bigger and better rent amount.
There are so many better points to this next house and it is exactly the same rent amount as this last year's house. That is definitely only what God can do, we didn't even have to try to haggle the price down.
Pray with us for the landlord as he is an non-believer, that we may be a testimony to him.
Thank you all for your prayers and support! God is so faithful!
